DK470

The Low cost DK470 Pinger is quite small & weighs approximately 500 gm.  With simple weld, bolts or straps tow of these compact devices can be fitted to hazardous cargo containers (at- diagonally opposite corners -See Fig. A).

When immersed in water, the DK470 are activated and transmit a signal in all directions.  This allows location a considerable distance from where the search procedure is being conducted.  The Dukane DSL-375 locator system can be used to search for the Pingers.  The reliable operation of the DK470 will ease the location and recovery efforts.
